Mrs. Climaco’s 3rd grade class finished reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so they celebrated with a little movie party to mark the end of a sweet adventure!
We enjoyed themed snacks inspired by some of our favorite characters:
• Chocolate bars for Charlie Bucket 
• Chocolate pudding for Augustus Gloop and the chocolate river 
• Blueberries for Violet Beauregarde 
• Paydays (with peanuts) for Veruca Salt and the squirrels 
• Mini marshmallows for Mike Teavee in the white room (after he got shrunk by the Wonka-Vision machine!) 
• Orange slices for the Oompa Loompas 
The students loved seeing the story come to life after spending the past few weeks reading Roald Dahl’s timeless classic and Willy Wonka’s amazing factory. Such a fun way to celebrate finishing a great book together!
