TRI-COUNTY TITANS
CROSS
COUNTRY
2026
Dear Parents and Guardians of Students in Grades 5–12,
We are excited to invite your child to consider joining the Tri-County Cross Country team this fall!
Cross country is a sport that welcomes students of all athletic backgrounds and experience levels.
Whether your child is already involved in sports, enjoys being active, or is simply looking for a new
challenge and a chance to be part of a team, cross country offers a rewarding experience.
Even if cross country has never been something your family has considered before, we encourage you
to take a closer look. What matters most in a cross country athlete is a willingness to work hard, set
goals, and support teammates.
Benefits of participating in Cross Country include:
• Improved physical fitness, endurance, and overall health
• Increased self-confidence and mental toughness
• Strong friendships and a supportive team environment
• Development of discipline, perseverance, and time-management skills
• A positive activity that promotes lifelong fitness habits
• Opportunities for leadership and personal growth
• Participation in a sport where athletes of all ability levels can contribute and improve
Summer workouts are a great opportunity for athletes to prepare for the season, meet teammates,
and build a strong fitness foundation. Students are encouraged, but not required, to attend.

We hope you will encourage your child to consider joining the cross country team this year. It is a sport that challenges athletes individually while creating lasting friendships and a strong sense of belonging. We would love to welcome new runners and help them discover what they are capable of achieving.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
