🌍🎄 Christmas Around the World! 🎄🌍
Today, our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students went on a journey to celebrate Christmas traditions from around the globe! They "traveled" to Germany, Mexico, Italy, Hawaii, and Australia—learning about each culture’s unique holiday celebrations.
🎨 They made crafts inspired by the traditions of each country.
🎵 They sang festive songs and played fun holiday games.
🛂 They even carried passports and collected stamps from every destination they visited!
This hands-on adventure was a wonderful way for our students to experience the joy and diversity of Christmas celebrations worldwide.

Important Reminder!!!
We have a 2:05 dismissal on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please make arrangements for early pick-ups and bus arrivals.
The Elementary Winter Concert is at 1:00 on Friday. Doors will open at 12:45. Doors will not open before 12:45 to give our older students time to finish their lunch break.
You may take your Elementary student home after the concert. Please notify their teacher before you leave. JH students and HS students who must stay the whole day for finals will be dismissed at 2:05.
Have a wonderful holiday, and we will see students back on January 7th!

We are thrilled to announce that our superintendent, Mrs. Wilhoit, is presenting at the Raising Student Achievement Conference in Oak Brook, Illinois! This conference brings together educators and administrators from across the state to collaborate, learn, and share strategies for improving student outcomes.
Mrs. Wilhoit's Presentation:
"Unveiling the Nexus between Student Engagement and School Culture"
For the past three years, Mrs. Wilhoit has explored the connection between school culture and student engagement. Through an in-depth literature analysis, she will share actionable insights for classroom teachers and administrators to create a positive school culture that naturally fosters higher student engagement.
Representing Shiloh:
Joining the conference as an attendee is Mrs. Clodfelder, who is there to gather even more tools and ideas to benefit our district.
Let’s cheer them on as they continue to inspire and innovate for our schools.

Ms. Sisk's students had a blast during PE playing 'Stuff the Turkey!' Great teamwork and lots of fun as they got into the Thanksgiving spirit while staying active!

Third grade did a mini research unit on the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade! They leaned about the history of the parade, how the balloons and floats are made, and used their Internet exploration skills to look at this year’s new floats on the Macy’s website. The finished the unit by making their own floats and having a pretend parade!
