We had hoped to be able to have our Elementary Winter Concert this week, but unfortunately, due to the number of students absent we are cancelling. We hope to have a concert in the Spring instead.
A request for emergency contact numbers was sent out earlier this year as we are changing notification systems. If you have a phone number that DID NOT receive a phone call and/or text earlier today regarding the school closure this week, please call Jenni at 217-531-1850 ext. 1 or email at weber-hallj@shiloh1.org to add your phone number. We want to be sure we are reaching all of our parents in the event of an emergency or important announcements.
Newman Bus 1 Change: Due to today's bus driver shortage. The Newman bus 1 route will be delayed up to 45 minutes. Students will be supervised at Shiloh while waiting for the alternative bus.

2021 Food Baskets
A HUGE thank you to all of the donors. We could not have done any of this without their generosity and support to help those in our community during this holiday season. We received a total of $5,200 in monetary donations this year! That total doesn't include all of the food, paper bags, and box donations.
Thank you Student Council and FFA members for all of your hard work and love of serving others! Not many people can say that they were able to help 48 families, 154 people, during this holiday season and complete an estimated $15,000 project for those in need throughout our community!
Today, we had a visit from Shiloh alum, Courtney Porter. Courtney started a fundraiser in honor of her mom, Gail, to raise money for local families in need during the holidays both at Shiloh, where she went to school and played basketball, and Lincoln Trail Elementary in Mahomet where she was Assistant Principal for 10 years. Courtney has biked over 500 miles and run over 100 miles for the fundraiser, named "Gail's Wish" after Courtney's mom who passed away in 2015 from Multiple Myeloma. Gail believed in donating locally and helping families who needed a little extra, especially around the holidays. Today, Courtney donated $1000 to our district to help families this holiday season. We cannot thank her enough for her generous gift and the happiness it will bring.
