Arthur Junior High Track Invitational
Due to the large amount of rain we have received this week (and last), we will be closing the football practice field area south of the track for parking. We currently have standing water in places and traffic in this area would leave ruts etc. We are asking all buses to park in the west lot of the high school. The lot northeast of the track will be reserved for spectator parking. Please have your bus drive south on Spruce St. (east side of the high school) and drop your team off at the track. After your bus drops your team off, please have them follow the green path back to the high school parking lot on the west side of the high school. Buses should park on the west side of the parking lot to reserve space for spectator parking. Please communicate with your parents that the lot south of Wilson Field will be closed on Saturday and they may need to park in the high school lots. Admission for tomorrow's meet is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors.

Partnership in Parenting families gathered for their March group connection to make Easter egg paintings and build excitement for the upcoming total solar eclipse.
Circle time included a reading of "Happy Easter, Mouse!" by Laura Numeroff and Felicia Bond. It was fun to count eggs and learn about colors, but it was most exciting to find out who was leaving all the eggs. After catching glimpses of long ears, big feet and a puffy tail throughout the story, we learned who was in Mouse's house!
PIP-Squeaks practiced small muscle skills by rolling paint-covered marbles around an egg cutout. They also created their own solar eclipse to help their families learn about this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and how to view it safely.
Before heading home, each child chose an Easter, spring or planet board book to take home.
The next group connection will be April 17 at 9:30 AM.

It's great to see that over 99% of missing assignments have been completed.
