Shiloh student Kylie Webb is featured in the Journal Gazette & Times-Courier article about LIFT culinary arts students volunteering at the food sampling event at the Mattoon Chamber Business Expo on Thursday.
Kylie Webb, a junior from Shiloh High School, served up deviled eggs and assorted soups for Hubbartt's. Webb, who wants to eventually become a personal chef, said the culinary arts program enabled her to get hands-on training at special events and meet a variety of industry professionals, experiences she would not have had otherwise.

The Shiloh PTO are placing an order for t-shirts for students Pre-K through 5th grade. The t-shirt design is a purple t-shirt with white lettering saying “Shiloh Elementary.” The shirt will be worn for various occasions throughout the school year. Students can and should wear the shirts on special school events and on early dismissal days.
If you are interested in purchasing a t-shirt for your child or yourself, please return the order form along with $8 in an envelope to your child’s teacher by Tuesday, October 8th . Checks should be made out to Shiloh PTO . Please email Mrs. Milburn with questions: MilburnK@shiloh1.org.

On Tuesday, October 1, all Shiloh 8th graders are invited to spend the evening watching the 2024 Vice Presidential Debate for Mr. Allen's social studies class! There will be pizza, drinks, and extra credit opportunities, so do not miss out! Students should arrive at 7:45 and will need to be picked up no later than 9:45. Gummy Bear Lab – Discovering Osmosis! 🧪 In this fun and educational lab, students practiced their measuring skills, learned to use the electronic balance, and perfected reading the graduated cylinder—all while staying safe in the lab! A great hands-on way to understand osmosis and develop important science skills. 👩🔬👨🔬
