Partnership in Parenting families gathered for their January group connection in the Newman Community Center gym. With the cold temperatures and snow to start off the new year, playing in the gym was a great way to beat cabin fever and spend time with friends.
The children practiced their motor skills using blocks, balls & baskets, and hoops & horses. They buzzed around with ride-on toys, worked on hand-eye coordination with the parachute, and "flew" on the butterfly to use up excess energy.
Before heading back out into the cold, the PIP-Squeaks chose a snack and winter book to take home. They also picked out new mittens and hats.

Good luck to the 8th Grade Boys tonight!
They play at St. Matthew School 1307 Lincolnshire Drive, Champaign
Game time is at 6:30
The game can be seen at https://www.youtube.com/results?search_qieru=st+matthew+athletics
School counselors are highly educated, professionally certified individuals who help students succeed in school and plan their career. An integral part of the total education system, school counselors help students form healthy goals, mindsets and behaviors. With the aid of a school counselor, students learn to develop effective collaboration and cooperation skills, to practice perseverance, to develop time management and study skills, and to learn self-motivation and self-direction habits.
Thank you, Mrs. Megan Evans, for your guidance of Shiloh students toward continued education and career planning!

There are many opportunities to support fundraisers for post-prom events for Shiloh students as well as one for fellow TCT school Oakland. Post prom ensures an unforgettable and safe night for our students. Your participation directly impacts the experience and enjoyment of our students during this special occasion.
Your first chance is at tonight's Winterfest boys basketball game. The post prom committee is selling slices of pizza for $2.50.
Shiloh's next event is Glow Bingo. This takes place on March 9. $25 per person, limited seats available, must be 21 or older. Contact Mrs. North (northj@shiloh1.org) or Mrs. Pollock (pollockr@shiloh1.org) to purchase tickets.
Finally, Oakland's post prom committee is hosting a show by CU comedy with dinner and entry into a cash drawing on February 24. $100 per ticket gets 2 people dinner and a show and 1 entry into the raffle, and only 125 tickets will be sold. Contact one of Oakland's committee members, Stephanie Logan, Janet Hudson, Carla Duzan, Nikki Hall, Jennifer Burch, Karen Goatley, Belinda Clifton, or Heidi Knoebel; or go to https://www.facebook.com/OaklandILPostProm.
