Due to a shortage of drivers, the shuttle for tutoring and musical practice today will run 10 to 15 minutes late dropping off students in towns.

Parents of PIP, Preschool, and Kindergarten students, remember Sunday is our annual Easter Egg Hunt. The hunt begins at 3:00 in the Shiloh Multipurpose room. We hope to see all of our PIP, Preschool, and Kindergarten families there!

Mrs. Donnals's fifth grade class had a fun time celebrating St. Patrick's Day with a STEM Challenge. They designed, collaborated, and built their own Rainbow Bridges in small groups. They then tested their bridges to see who’s would hold the most weight in chocolate coins!

Congratulations to our LPC Honor Band participants. They spent many hours practicing and put on a wonderful performance!

At the March group connection, PIP celebrated Dr. Seuss and St. Patrick's Day with a focus on reading and sensory activities. They also had a presentation by Chandra Gerberding. She came to share about new options for medical, mental health, and dental services. Promise Health recently opened three clinics in the Champaign-Urbana area and are accepting all insurances, including Medicaid. Every family received a bag full of items promoting good health.
"Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You?" by Dr. Seuss was the featured book at story time with lots of participation from the PIP-Squeaks during the reading. After the story, the children used shaving cream and red food coloring to decorate their Cat in the Hat activity, enjoying the fluffy feel and tangy scent of the shaving cream. They also used their small muscle skills to paint shamrocks with glue before sprinkling them with green gelatin. Feeling the sandy texture and smelling the sweet mix led to some tasting, but no one was willing to have a picture taken of their green tongues!
"One Fish, Two Fish, How many Goldfish?" The answer was 315, and one lucky fellow got to take them all home for guessing the closest number. Before leaving, the children munched on decorated cheese sticks and picked out a new book.

Reminder: Today, March 16th, Shiloh has a 2:05pm dismissal!

We hope our junior high students enjoyed last week's dodgeball tournament for those who earned the 3rd quarter reward. The 8th grade were undefeated all week!
The junior high would also like to thank the high schoolers who challenged the winning team on Thursday. Included below are a few photos from 5 years ago when the Class of 2023 were the champs.

Reminder: Today, March 16th, is a 2:05 dismissal at Shiloh CUSD!
