Let the Good Times Roll! This year Family Reading Night will be Family Reading Week, a virtual event that runs November 16-20. There's a choice board of activities, and we are asking families to complete at least five. Adults, initial the activities your family completes, sign the form, & return it to school no later than Friday, November 20th, to enter their student into a drawing for a Razor Scooter. In addition, all participants will receive a certificate of completion, and their photo will be taken and posted on the Shiloh Family Reading week 2020 Facebook page. Families, please join our Family Reading Week 2020 Facebook page to share their activities. https://www.facebook.com/groups/2811685672433937/

Congratulations to two of our elementary students for winning the Halloween coloring contest sponsored by Newman Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. Two winners were chosen by the residents, and the winners were: Sophia Biddle, 2nd grade, and Collin Tharp, 4th grade! A BIG thank you to Newman Health Care for sponsoring this contest and for the Halloween treat bags that were handed out to each of our elementary students. It is so nice to have such thoughtful neighbors. The students loved the treats and had a great time preparing their contest entries!

Shiloh CUSD #1 COVID-19 Update: This week, one preschool student in our district tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the number of students currently quarantining from last week’s positive case in the high school and this week’s positive case, and the rising number of cases in the community, we have decided to take an adaptive pause and move to E-Learning from November 2nd to November 6th. The health and safety of our students and staff is our number one priority. Students will return to Face to Face learning on Monday, November 9th.
