Shiloh families, This is a reminder that our Fall Break will begin with an early dismissal at 2:05 on Tuesday, November 26th. There will be no school from Wednesday, November 27th through Friday, November 29th. There will be NO TUTORING on Monday, November 25th, or Tuesday, November 26th. We wish everyone a safe and wonderful break!

Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team. They will be playing for the Regional Championship tonight at Martinsville. The game will start at 6pm as they take on Tri County.

It's holiday time and that means the Shiloh Student Council and Shiloh FFA are working on our food basket project. We will be collecting food and donations from November 29-December 6. This year we will again be helping 50 families in our school district! We gather food such as canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, macaroni, peanut butter, soup, canned chicken and instant potatoes. We also buy ham, potatoes and extra non-perishable items for each family with donation money. These boxes include everything that would be necessary to prepare a holiday meal as well as to stock the shelves for the colder months ahead. We could not do this service project without the support from our school and the community.

There will be no Pep Band performance this evening.

Shiloh’s 5th through 8th graders had an exciting time attending Field Trip Day at the University of Illinois Women's Basketball game! Our students cheered the team on to victory while enjoying the energy and fun of college basketball.

A belated but heartfelt thank you to our incredible Shiloh School Board members! National School Board Member Day celebrates the dedication and hard work of those who serve on school boards. These individuals play a vital role in shaping the future of our schools by setting policies, overseeing budgets, and supporting students, staff, and the community. We are so grateful for the entire board’s commitment to Shiloh and their dedication to making a positive impact on education!

The 8th Grade Girls Basketball team will start Regional Play 11/23/24 . They will play Danville Schlarman @ 11:30am in Martinsville.

Students in Mr. Hendershot's Technical Math class put their creativity and engineering skills to the test by building and testing toothpick bridges. From design to construction, they learned how math plays a key role in real-world problem-solving.

Today, Friday, November 15th, Jeri's Newman bus riders will arrive approximately 10 minutes late to their stops. The bus will be dropping off our Hume students on the way. Julie's Redmon bus will arrive approximately 15 to 20 minutes late, as she will be dropping off our Metcalf students.

As we near the end of National School Psychology Week (November 11-15), we want to recognize and thank our incredible school psychologist, Mrs. Titus! This week, the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) celebrates the vital contributions of school psychologists in helping students thrive at school, at home, and in life. This year’s theme, “Spark Discovery,” highlights how school psychologists like Mrs. Titus inspire new ideas, foster growth, and expand horizons for our children and youth every day.
