Due to the water issues, Martinsville will be hosting the 7th Grade Regionals following the same schedule that Danville Schlarman set up.

Shiloh CUSD 1 will be closed today, Friday, January 19, due to the weather and road conditions. Extra curricular activities will be decided by noon. The JH girls basketball banquet will continue as planned.

Everyday we expect Shiloh students to be respectful, responsible, and safe. One way to be RESPONSIBLE with our materials and to RESPECT others' time is to have your Chromebook charged and at school each and every day. This week we are MAP testing on Chromebooks in addition to the normal, daily use.
Bus #1-Newman (Anita's Bus) has a change in pick-up times beginning Thursday morning (January 18th) due to a route change. Beginning tomorrow morning, Bus #1 will be picking students up 5 to 10 minutes early. Please be watching for the bus early so you don't miss her.
The drop-off times should remain the same. Please contact the office with any questions.

The Junior High and High School boys' basketball games scheduled to be played at Villa Grove tonight are going to be played.
JH bus time - leave Shiloh at 5pm
HS bus times - Leave Kansas 4pm, Oakland 4:15pm, Shiloh 4:45pm
Important: Due to extreme temperatures, there will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16th. This will be a regular snow day.
As the bitterly-cold weather sets in, it's crucial to ensure our scholars stay warm, cozy, and safe. Students need to be dressed to be prepared for many situations: bus stop, bus, classrooms, and being outside in case of an emergency.
1. Layer up: Dress your kids in layers to trap warmth.
2. Don't forget the essentials: Hat, mittens, and a cozy scarf are a must!
3. Insulated outerwear: Invest in a warm, insulated jacket to keep the cold at bay.
4. Toasty toes: Warm socks and waterproof boots are winter wardrobe essentials.

The Shiloh JH Boys 7th Grade Basketball Team was seeded 3rd in their Regional that begins on January 20th. They will play 6th seeded Chrisman at 10:30am at Danville Schlarman (2112 N Vermillion St. Danville, IL.)
The Girls LPC basketball tournament starts on Saturday January 13th. The Tri-County Lady Titans have a bye the first round and will play the winner of Cumberland and Villa Grove Monday January 15th at 5pm. This game will take place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. The address for this location is 1 Bachrach Ct. Decatur, IL. 62526.
The Fresh/Soph game scheduled today at Westville has been moved to 5pm at the Westville Elementary School. The address for this location is 200 Walnut St. Westville, IL.
I am also attaching the Tuscola Freshman Tournament schedule that is this Saturday.
